Storage Conditions

If the door is not opened and the original packaging of the factory is not damaged, the product can be stored for 6 months from the date of production in a dry environment and the original packaging at a temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Preparation Substrate

A concrete substrate must first be prepared mechanically and by means of grinding equipment until the top surface of the concrete, which contains the remaining cement and water and causes the surface to become alkaline (concrete sap), is removed and penetrates the open pores of the concrete.

Weak points of concrete must be removed and surface defects such as pits, holes, and cracks must be drained and then repaired. For this purpose, you can use the appropriate material for the repair.

It should be noted that all the dust on the surface must be removed before applying the products, for which it is recommended to use industrial vacuum cleaners with high suction power.

Installation

Stir component 1 first before mixing. Then add component 2 to component 1 and stir for about two minutes at a speed of 400 rpm. Avoid movements that cause air to enter the mixture while stirring. For mixing, you can use a mechanical mixer with a speed of 300 to 400 rpm.

MMA Floor Coating| Soft Top Coat| UV Resistant

BASADUR® M 504 acrylate floor coating is a flexible (elastic) final coat for MMA flooring systems. This coating posing high resistance to ultraviolet radiation(UV), can be used in indoor and outdoor applications as the final layer of the MMA flooring system. Due to the acrylate nature of this coating, its installation is fast and creates an impermeable and flexible surface within 30 to 60 minutes.

The specialists of BASA Polymer company have designed the BASADUR® M504 product for outdoor spaces. But this MMA elastic top coat can also be used at low temperatures without affecting the performance and the final curing of the coating. BASADUR® M 504 dries faster than common varnishes made of Epoxy and Polyurethane. Acrylate floor covering reaches its final properties in a very short period of a few hours, which makes it ideal for projects that have limited time to install the flooring.

It is not only the aesthetic and UV resistance of BASADUR® M504 lacquer that distinguishes it from other resin floors. This flooring is more flexible than epoxy, and for this reason, it is more resistant to impact or structural stresses.
