Two-component Middle epoxy coat

Storage Conditions

The product must be stored in original, unopened, and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +15 °C and +30 °C. In these conditions, the product can be stored for 6 months from the date of production.

Preparation Substrate

The substrate must be fully prepared and free of any dust, gravel, oil, and dirt. With suitable equipment and by the type of substructure (concrete, stone, mosaic, or ceramic), sub-flooring must be done A suitable primer should be applied on the surface.

Installation

Before mixing the two parts, stir Part A. After adding Part B to Part A, stir the mixture for 2 minutes at 400 rpm using a drill mixer. While stirring avoid sudden movements that allow air to enter the mixture.

Depending on the type of use (Intermediate layer, mastic, baseboard, putty, grout) the amount of material consumption and working method would be different.

Description

BASADUR® E 202

Middle coat| High Solid Content| General| 13%

BASADUR®-E 202 is a two-component Intermediate layer based on epoxy resin and polyamine hardener. This product is in the form of flowing mortar for reinforcing various engineering structures. BASADUR®-E 202 can also be used as a mastic and intermediate layer for epoxy flooring to fill the cracks and joints.

BASADUR®-E 202 is a cost-effective epoxy intermediate layer with a mixing ratio of 13%, which is perfectly suitable for sealing the substrate, filling cracks, and applying mastic on epoxy flooring. It is noteworthy that by combining this product with Aerosil (fumed silica) powder and preparing putty/mastic, it can be used in applying mastic and covings.

Because of its medium viscosity, it has a high filler loading capacity; and this product can be used to make epoxy grouting.

Keep in mind, since this epoxy intermediate coat is formulated for applying the first layers of the epoxy flooring system, the colors that can be ordered are limited.
