BASADR^®-E 105

Epoxy primer| Solvent Free| Polyamine| Damp Substrate

BASADUR^®-E 105 is a two-component epoxy primer that is solvent-free and suitable for use on wet surfaces.

One of the most obvious features of this product is that it can be used on the surface of fresh concrete or in places where, due to existing restrictions, the humidity level of the foundation is higher than the permissible limit.

BASADR^®-E 105 with low viscosity is used to increase the adhesion of the coating to all types of concrete, stone, cement, etc. substrates. The primer, as the interface between the substrate and the coating, prevents the resin flooring system from peeling off by creating chemical and mechanical connections. It should be noted that the presence of micro-pores and appropriate roughness with the flooring before applying the primer will help to create a more mechanical lock and better adhesion.

Also, the non-use of solvent in the formulation of this product will eliminate the problems caused by the confinement of the solvent in the high thickness and deep porosity of the concrete and will help to strengthen the adhesion to the substrate as much as possible.

The presence of moisture in the substructure, especially in concrete substructures, will cause problems with epoxy flooring. Because moisture can’t penetrate or pass through the flooring. Therefore, the implementation of epoxy flooring in these conditions and when the concrete is fresh will eventually lead to blisters and bubbles. BASADUR^®-E 105 prevents any blistering in the final surface with maximum adhesion to wet substrates.

BASADUR^®-E105 two-component epoxy primer is ready to apply on all types of concrete, stone, mosaic, ceramic, and metal surfaces after being mixed by a mechanical stirrer. Installation and implementation of BASADUR^®-E105 epoxy primer are done using a wool roller.
