  • As a final coating in places where wear chemical resistance and UV resistance are important
  • gyms
  • Commercial, office, residential, and open spaces
  • This product is anti-slip and is recommended for use in process halls and wet repairs such as food and beverage industries.

Attributes:

  • Excellent abrasion resistance
  • High mechanical and chemical resistance
  • Resistant to sunlight and UV rays
  • Easy to use when using
  • Toughness
  • Sealing and excellent resistance to liquid penetration
  • Final non-slip surface
  • Affordable
  • Integrated with a beautiful appearance
  • High adhesion

Storage Conditions

The product must be stored in original, unopened, and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +15 °C and +30 °C. In these conditions, the product can be stored for 6 months from the date of production.

Preparation Substrate

First, the concrete substrate must be prepared mechanically and using grinding machines until the surface of the concrete, which contains cement and water residues and causes the surface to become alkaline (concrete syrup), is removed to reach the open pores of the concrete.

Any weak points in concrete and surface imperfections such as holes, cavities, and cracks should be drained and repaired. For this purpose, you can use the BASA repair material.

It should be noted that all dust on the surface must be removed before applying the products. Using industrial vacuum cleaners with high suction power is recommended.

Installation

Before mixing the two parts, stir part A. After adding part B to part A, stir the mixture for 2 minutes at 400 rpm using a drill mixer. While stirring avoid sudden movements that allow air to enter the mixture. Then apply the material on the surface using a wool roller. Consumption of prepared material per square meter is about 100 to 200 grams (depending on floor conditions). Do not keep the mixed material in the bucket for a long time; because the primer will have a very short pot life due to the heat generated by the reaction of the components.

Description

BASADUR® U 707

PU Floor Coating| Solvent-based| UV Resistant

BASADUR® U 707 is a two-component, solvent-based polyurethane pigmented coating, whose main advantages include excellent resistance to sunlight, UV rays, and high abrasion resistance.

This product has high coverage and its consumption is only 150-200 grams per square meter.

In the polyurethane flooring industry, one of the main characteristics of the products is the wear resistance of the final coating layer due to exposure to continuous surface traffic.

BASADUR® U 707 is one of the most suitable options used to increase the resistance of the surface against wear. Therefore, in this product, the gradual erosion of the surface due to wear is very rare, even in heavy traffic.

One of the main issues that should be considered when buying resin flooring material for outdoor use is the lack of change in the physical properties and color of the coating due to sunlight exposure. In the design and formulation of BASADUR® U 707 polyurethane floor coatings, efforts have been made to minimize these changes and turn them into a UV-resistant coating.

Although this product has a very low consumption per square meter, it has high coverage and is applied with a wool roller in a thin layer.

BASADUR® U 707 polyurethane coating is pigmented and glossy, and its final surface will be textured (orange peel which leads to an anti-slip surface.

It should be considered that BASADUR® U 707 polyurethane coating material is highly sensitive to the presence of moisture before application, and if there is moisture in the environment or substrate during the application, it will cause bubbles and foam in the final product.
